Dogs have feelings

They've just said today on BBC radio 4 that it's been scientifically proven that dogs have feelings. Even so called "social" feelings (shame, guilt).
All I can say is:
DUH!

that is kinda funny... and you're so right; all of us dog lovers already knew that dogs have emotions :)
Yup - I'm quite familiar with the shame and guilt from my own dog's antics. He knows IMMEDIATELY when he done wrong.
He's also got quite the sense of humor.
