Triple Yay!

Oh, nice, thanks!

I had no idea,

thanks for posting, Craft Magazine!

New Paperbling, work in progress

Hello world, I couldn't wait to have good light to take pics of these.

They are turning really, really nice. I think my sense of color has improved quite a bit this semester. (Although I've realized that all I do lately is soft greys/greens and various pinks).
This time there's recicled paint in some of them, and japanese masking tape, and metal connectors.
They are not finished, but they'll have bright ribbons to tie them.

First Paperbling

My first PaperBling sale just happened. I'm thrilled to bits!

I've done original collage panoramic postcards to go with them...

Oh, happiness is a wet stamp!

Paper

Awesome book on art made with paper.

PaperBling

The secret is out...

I have not had the time to update Nosideup on Etsy for a while. There's a reason, and it's called PaperBling. And now it's out. I'm so proud and happy to see some funky, recycled, vegan jewellery out there. And needless to say, proud that it is mine. They are light and bold and versatile. You can wear them with more stuff, you can regulate their lenght. They burst with color and love. And I am happy they will find homes were they'll be admired and loved.

Gift wrap, part 2

You've been hearing of wrapping paper for a while now. It may be because it's Christmas, or it may be because my inner artist and my inner designer meet peacefully in the world of wrapping paper. Who knows. But here's yet another wraping paper post.

This little parcel contains a secret little present for somebody this Christmas. The wrapping paper is an original, held together with fancy palstic hair bands. I quite like it, so I wanted to share it (although the colors are much more delicate in the real world):

Oh, Johnny

Johnny Depp has designed a wrapping paper for The Guardian. It's so, so ugly, but at least it's for a good cause.

Hairy writing paper

Hey! Congrats everybody on the elections.
I woke up clapping!
Even more good news for today: you can now find in the shop the "hairy letter paper" to write in the good all-fashioned way to all your darlings. They come in packs of 5 for 7.50 dollars (recession-embracing price!). You can buy as many packs as you need here.
