My Moleskine

Floral designs with liquid watercolor and a very thin brush on brown moleskine.

The Duchess of Malfi

By Johnny Kelly, the guy who did the Procrastination animated video.

Neon nature

By Ginette Lapalme, found at her flickr.

Little Worries

Very intricate, bizarre and moving illustrations by Little Worries. Found at the surprisingly awesome blog by my sister Lulilins. (What, you suddenly get a younger sister. Her role in your life is making it suck. Then she grows, goes to Art school and becomes a swan of style and talent. No older sister is ready for that).

New! Victorian Hair Jewellery

I'm very excited to show you what I've been up to...

These postcard-sized beauties are original watercolor illustrations of Victorian Hair Jewellery.
How do you like them?

Summer skin

This is pretty much what my back looks like after a sun stroke and two sun burns.

You can guess what I wore each day :)
I should have known that after an unpredictable sun stroke your skin is not magically immune to the sun.

Chelsea

Chelsea Steed is a photographer and now a new print in my shop...
See the story here!

Matatu

Matatus are little vans in Nairobi. They are all widly decorated, and some are themed with politicians or celebrities. This one is rather fabulous.
Photograph by Sarah Elliot.
Thanks to On Africa (Mr. M).

"Moving Graffitti"

A friend at university passed this to me.
Awesome, isn't it?
And SO MUCH WORK!
By Blu and David Ellis.
Thanks, Anna.

Keri Smith

I've had her books in my hands without even realizing.

Now I've found out some of the writtings in her blog and I'm fascinated.

See what I mean here.

PS: Is it me, or one cannot see most of the images in this blog anymore?!

Amy Cutler

Some people are just really talented, and live in a very particular inner world. See more here.

Mati Rose

Remember I sold my first PaperBling yesterday?

Well, it is most likely it happened because of Mati Rose, who posted my work on her blog.

Now, that's awesome by itself, but it so happens that Mati Rose is a bold, energetic, crazy, colorful, fantastic, fabulous artist.

Check it out by yourselves!

Claire Scully

Awe inspiring.

Anthony Browne

Just named Children's laureate. Monkey-obsessed illustrator.

Vanitas by Fernando Vicente

Not the first seen in this style, but full of charm and massive amounts of talent. Really subtle and animalistic reminder of what lies beneath glamour. Fernando Vicente is also an illustrator for El Pais. You can see more here.

Michael Sowa

The artist behind Amelie's fantastic animal pictures.
No official website, I am afraid. Prints available from Amazon (Is there anything you can't get from amazon?).

Sterling Hundley

It's like if Klimt was born in the iPod generation. Still in awe. See more here.

Sara Fanelli

Sara Fanelli, illustrator of all things cute and smart, author of Sometimes I think, Sometimes I am.
